Financial Assistance Information

The Financial Assistance Fund of Giant Campus, Inc. is provided through the generosity of a few benefactors. It is the intention of Giant Campus, Inc., within the available limits of the Financial Assistance Fund, to help provide the means to attend Cybercamps to those that need and qualify for financial assistance.

Number of Awards

The number of awards depend upon the merits of the applications received and the funds available.

Amount of Awards

The majority of financial assistance awards available range from 30% to 60% of the course tuition (not including fees). The maximum of any award is 60% of the course tuition. The exact amount will depend upon the needs of each applicant.

Eligibility

Any applicant is eligible to apply who is otherwise eligible for the course desired. There are no restrictions of eligibility, or preference given, based on race, sex, religion, creed or color.

Basis and Methods of Selection

Final determination of awards will be made by a committee designated by the Board of Directors of Giant Campus, Inc. Applicants will be chosen on the basis of merit and need, as revealed by the appraisals of the completed application by the committee. The committee asks for some personal and family information to help in its decisions, but such information is strictly confidential and is not disclosed to any persons other than the committee members.

How to Apply

Fill in and submit the Financial Assistance Application online by April 25, 2008 @ 5:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time). Applications will be processed in the order in which they were received. All applications will be reviewed by the committee and announcements regarding acceptance for financial assistance will be sent via email on May 9, 2008.

Those applicants who are awarded assistance, will need to accept the offer no later than May 20, 2008 @ 5:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time). All applicable supporting documentation required to participate in the program are due by 5/30/08. The remaining tuition balance is due 1 week prior to your child’s start of camp.
