Who We Are

Cybercamps Academy, our summer computer camp for youth, is part of the Giant Campus family of youth programs. Now in our 12th year, Cybercamps Academy has established itself as the most innovative national summer technology program available. With more than a decade of summers under our belts, Cybercamps Academy is widely regarded as the premier summer program for kids who are interested in computers and technology. We’ve retained this important distinction by continuing our dedication to innovation. Finally, we go well beyond teaching technology skills by instilling in kids the importance of thinking critically, working collaboratively and communicating effectively - essential 21st century skills that they need to thrive in school and in their future endeavors.

Giant Campus, parent company to Cybercamps Academy, is the global leader in technology education for youth and offers the only summer computer program with Web-based courses. Our courses are built around the individual - allowing participants to learn at their own pace. It’s not only time spent in front of the computer, though. Participants still play outdoor games, and participate in team-based activities, like Wacky Water Wednesdays.

Giant Campus is a four-time honoree of Washington CEO magazine’s Best Companies to Work For award, winning top honors in 2000 and finishing in the top ten for 2004, 2005 and 2006. Giant Campus is also the winner of the Homestreet Bank’s Small Business Spotlight Award for 2006.

While there are a lot of really terrific people who make Cybercamps Academy happen each year, two in particular have helped to shape this program into the national leader it is today.

She has operated multiple day and residential summer camp programs in the traditional camping industry.
