Com assigns an identification number to campers, which is encrypted for security reasons. These cookies are stored on each camper's machine and have a frequent pre-determined expiration.

Giant Campus.com would like to offer parents the following guidelines:

The Internet provides many wonderful resources for everyone. As parents, become part of your child's world online. Sit beside them when they are exploring the web and ask questions. There is a lot parents and kids can learn and share while surfing the Internet together.
Let your child know that they do not, under any circumstances, need to feel that they must give out any personal information. Even if the request is from a cute and loveable animated character. Further, let them understand that they are not to fill out any questionnaire for a contest or game without their parent's consent.
Make sure that your child understands what 'personal information' means. Besides their name and address, other personal information also includes such examples as a pet's name, information specific to a sibling, favorite foods, etc.

When exploring a new site, check out their Privacy Policy early on. It will let you know what information they are going to ask for and how they intend to use that information.
