How a Virtual Computer Camp Works
In this instructor-led program, teens participate in daily, live session topics. After a period of instruction, each student works independently and online on their own projects. In this virtual environment, instead of "raising your hand" to ask a question, help is just a few clicks away to chat one-on-one with the instructor.
Through a series of hands-on projects using Adobe Creative Suite 3 and Multimedia Fusion 2, teens learn the basic concepts of digital media authoring and practice the techniques used by the pros. By the end of the week, each teen will complete at least two original projects on their own.
Of course, participants need a Windows-based computer with a broadband Internet connection, and it's helpful to have at least 1G of RAM. Course software is provided in the form of free trial downloads and access to the K12 online learning environment. Course information, download, and installation instructions are provided after registration. If you have any issues accessing your course or downloading the required software programs, please contact customer support at (866) 571-4310.
